Our Story

Doctor Candle started during the COVID pandemic, one of the hardest stretches most of us can remember.

Like a lot of people, we were stuck at home looking for small ways to make it feel calmer. We'd always loved candles, but we wanted fragrances that actually lifted how we felt at the end of a long, uncertain day.

What began as a way to get through that time slowly turned into something we cared about. We started making candles for ourselves, testing fragrances and choosing ingredients we were happy to burn in our own home, day after day.

Then we noticed something. Almost everyone who came over asked about them. Friends and family kept wanting to know which scent was filling the room, and more than a few asked to take one home. That was the point it stopped being a hobby.

The candles were doing more than filling a room with scent. They were changing how it felt to be in it.

As we started sharing them more widely, we wanted that feeling to begin the moment the box arrived, not just when the candle was lit. A gift should look like a gift from the very first second.
